The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology’s Common Services Center (CSC) plan has established a dedicated WhatsApp helpline named ‘SC Health Services Helpdesk’ to provide teleconsultation solutions for persons in rural and remote sections of the country. The WhatsApp helpdesk is designed to make it uncomplicated for users to get help from the administration, consult with doctors, access a variety of Covid-related materials, and have their questions answered.

The SC Health Services Helpdesk on WhatsApp would be featured in Hindi and English and will be free to use. WhatsApp users can reach the helpdesk by sending a ‘Hi’ message to the number +977290055552 and selecting the choices to be linked to a doctor.
According to SC, the helpdesk was created as a crucial and easily available extension of the company’s mission of providing healthcare services through socially, fiscally, and digitally inclusive channels. This states that the WhatsApp helpdesk would direct users to the relevant doctor according to their individual health requirements in both general and Covid-19-related sectors.
