WhatsApp, an instant messaging service, allows users to connect four devices at once without keeping their phones linked. Only one phone can be paired at a time. By connecting your phone to WhatsApp, you may use it on the web, desktop, and other devices. You can utilize up to four linked devices and one phone at any given time. Your phone does not need to be online to use WhatsApp on linked devices, but if you don’t use your phone for more than 14 days, your linked devices will be logged out. Whatsapp Log Out of the Portal or Your Computer:
– Launch WhatsApp Web or WhatsApp Desktop on your computer.
– Select Log out from the menu above your chat list.
Log Out of Whatsapp on Your Phone:
On your phone, open WhatsApp.
Tap More options > Linked Devices on Android.
Go to WhatsApp Settings > Linked Devices on your iPhone.
Select a device and Logout.

2. Messaging or calling someone whose phone is running an old version of WhatsApp.
3. Live location tracking on linked devices.
4. Using linked devices to create and view broadcast lists.
5. Using WhatsApp Web to send messages with link previews.
When You’re Not Using Whatsapp Web, Log Out
WhatsApp Web is really useful, particularly if you need to communicate with coworkers and associates from your office desktop or laptop. However, you run the risk of exposing your WhatsApp data to everyone else who uses that computer. Because, unlike the WhatsApp app on your phone, WhatsApp Web automatically signs you in whenever you open the browser.
To avoid this, log out of WhatsApp Web when not in use for an extended period of time in an office or public computer. You can also check when WhatsApp Web is active on a PC by using the WhatsApp Web notification on your phone.
