Indian biotechnology company Bharat Biotech International Limited, best known for developing vaccination against viral diseases like Chikungunya and Zika, is once again saving the nation by issuing precautionary advice against the coronavirus vaccination drive running across the country.

Two domestically manufactured vaccines: Covishield and Covaxin are part of the drive. 1. Those who have a history of allergies

4. Anyone who is immune-compromised or on medication that affects your immune system

5. Pregnant women

6. Women who are breastfeeding

7. Anyone who has received a different COVID-19 vaccine

8. The other serious health condition as determined by the vaccinator

The Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) has authorized a tightened emergency use of the Bharat Biotech-made Covaxin vaccine against COVID-19 infection. This means that each one individual who is prioritized under the government’s vaccine program and without the aforementioned medical conditions can take the Covaxin jab.

Side effects that are reported with the vaccine include:

Injection site pain, Injection site swelling, Injection site redness, Injection site itching, Stiffness within the upper arm, Weakness in injection arm, Body ache, Headache, Fever, Malaise, Weakness, Rashes, Nausea, Vomiting. Additionally, there’s a foreign chance that the Covaxin could cause a severe allergy.
