Registrations For PUBG India Begins From Tomorrow, Here Are The Deets

The moment PUBG fans have been waiting for months is finally here. It’s been a while since India banned PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds which is popularly known as PUBG over security concerns along with various Chinese apps and games. South Korea-based video game developer, Krafton, has finally announced the return of PUBG in India. Krafton Inc., is launching PUBG exclusively for Indians with the name ‘Battlegrounds Mobile India’. The game developer has announced that from 18th May the pre-registration for Battlegrounds Mobile India will begin.

Here’s all you need to know about pre-registration.

India-based content and features

To make it familiar with the global PUBG, Battlegrounds Mobile India is coming up with the same battle royale concept but it will have content and features different from the main PUBG. It is exclusively designed for Indian players with country-exclusive content and the in-game features will also be different. The main reason for doing this is to distinguish the Indian-based version from the mainstream PUBG app.

Available for 18 years of age

Currently, Battlegrounds Mobile India is only available for Android users above the age of 18 years. All those who have signed up on their mobile devices with a Google account and your age is 18 or above, then you will be able to see the listing on the Play Store. However, players below 18 years can play the game only after taking consent from their parents by giving their phone numbers and will only be allowed to play for not more than 3 hours a day.

Accessibility of Sanhok Map

One of the most popular maps on PUBG is Sanhok which might make its way to Battlegrounds Mobile India as well. Krafton, the developer of PUBG, has recently shared an image that resembles the Ban Tai dock on the Sanhok map. If you’ve played PUBG on your mobile, then you would know any updates or new tournaments would come in the Erangel map. But Sanhok map will feature its own eSports tournaments and leagues in Battlegrounds Mobile India, as per the reports.

Pre-registrations only for Android Users

Battlegrounds Mobile India has recently announced that pre-registration will only be for Android users. There is no mention of when the app will be launched for iOS users, so they have to wait a little longer. Stay tuned for future updates for iPhone users!

Rewards for Pre-Registered Users

As per the report by Krafton, the users who pre-register for an app or game on the Play Store will get certain ‘rewards’. The reason for pre-registering is that the users can enjoy access to exclusive content and it also generates interest for the developers. Play Store will automatically notify the users who pre-register and download the game when it’s available.

Fake APKs, No Legitimate Downloads

APKs found online are infected with viruses and malware which can steal your personal data from your mobile. According to the company, there are no valid downloads of Battlegrounds Mobile India on the web, so the users have to wait for the official release. But there is one authentic APK site that is APKMirror that verifies uploads. You can keep an eye on this site in case the game’s leaked version is uploaded.
